Dear Friends:
…Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:10-11
Christmastime is often referred to as the most wonderful time of the year, a testament to the Angel’s message of Good News to the shepherds. A message which resonates with such wonder, it is hard not to be joyful.
But for many the feeling of hope and joy may appear diminished. Countless families have been torn apart in countries stricken by war. Thousands of childhood dreams have been broken. Living in a world with constant hardship limits the choices and outcomes in one’s life.
The Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA) upholds its task to carry forth the promise of joy and hope in the lives of our brothers and sisters who need assistance. Our numerous projects and ministries enable us to remain a beacon of light for those lost amidst the chaos of war and those suffering from the effects of poverty. When you support the AMAA’s mission and service ministry you are helping us do what we do best: make a difference. Because, you are not just making a donation -you are giving hope. And for many people, young and old, hope is needed more than anything else.
With the help of our faithful friends, the AMAA is able to support various projects in 24 countries around the world which includes, yet not limited to: relief for Armenians in Syria, infant formula distribution, education in schools and day centers, aid to the elderly, building new churches and social centers, and spreading the Good News.
Take this opportunity today to make a donation and put a smile on the many people we work with. Every gift counts, no matter how big or small.
May the blessing of His birth remain a symbol of hope for all. We offer our prayers and sing praises to our most gracious God be with you, your family and loved ones now and throughout the New Year!
