Today (July 7, 2015), it was the first day of the 2015 AMAA Summer Internship.
The 15 participants from US and Canada have made their first stop at Paramus, NJ. It was a fabulous experience for the group to visit the AMAA Headquarters and be greeted by Mr. Zaven Khanjian, the Executive Director/CEO and by the staff.
In his welcoming remarks and as the youth were filling the chairs of the Board Room, Mr. Khanjian inspired the visitors and invited them to envision themselves one day sitting on those chairs and leading the mission of AMAA!
Later, an informative tour in the Headquarters led by David Aynejian helped the visitors acquire a knowledge of what the AMAA does and how it operates.
The rest of the day included a short walk in the heart of Manhattan and a naval cruse around New York City followed by a rain shower, which symbolized the Heaven’s promised blessings on the internship.
The evening was concluded with a dinner, worship and fellowship hosted by the Armenian Presbyterian Church of Paramus, NJ – something that was appreciated by the interns.
Prayerfully yours
Rev. Vatche Ekmekjian
